Join our exciting holiday programme this winter at Johannesburg Zoo

Johannesburg, May 30, 2006

Programme for the 3-6 year olds: for the following time 09h00—11h00 at a cost of R50-00 per child and R32-00 per adult (Children need to be accompanied by an adult for this programme). The programme includes refreshments, a ferry ride plus an animal demonstration or story-time. The programme theme and dates is as follows: 04 July & 15 August: Antelope Antics: Visit and meet some of the Zoo’s antelope species. 11 July & 22 August: Icy Animals: Discover the animals that live in cold places and enjoy it.

Programme for the 7-14 year olds: for the following time 09h00—13h00 at a cost of R50-00 per child (this is a children only programme). A person can book for a day or two or all ten! The programme themes and dates are as follows: ”Zoovivor” - 03-07 July 2006 and 14-18 August 2006: Each day will be filled with fun activities to learn how to survive in the big wild world and of course animals survival tricks. Each new day brings new things to do. “The Chill Factor” - 10-14 July 2006 and 21-25 August 2006: Are you creeped out by bugs or slimy things? Join us for a week of chilling facts of awesome animal tales and adaptations. Enjoy fun activities, energy bursting games and some creepy crafts.

Fun for the Whole Family: Book for a Moonlight Tour for your family and friends visit our nocturnal animals and you can enjoy a bonfire with hot refreshments. There will be tours on the following evenings: 5 & 12 July and 16 & 23 August 2006. Booking is essential. R65-00 per person. Tour starts at 17:15.
