Walk or run for fun at JHB Zoo.

By supporting a healthy life style, Johannesburg Zoo has
partnered with the organization Rocky Road Runners in The Zoo
Trot programme. Participants pay a small entrance fee R21, and
are able to enter either the 5km or 10km challenge.
The Zoo Trot is held every second Sunday
of the month throughout the year and it is open to all. The zoo
trot is a fun run or walk around the zoo.
If one of your new year’s resolutions is
to keep fit, this is an ideal opportunity for you. Families and
friends enjoy running whilst getting a better view of more that
200 animals species.
All the participants are given a medal
after completing three consecutive walks o r runs. Participants
are urged to complete as many rounds as they wish.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this
programme; anyone above 3 years can participate in this event
with the same entrance fee. Our gates open at 7.00am for the
walkers and the runners.
