Animal auction night postponed.

Animal Auction Night has been postponed to the 28 May 2005. It was due to take place this Friday, 29 April 2005. Participating corporates sited mid-week holiday and the long weekend as ground for postponement. Most of their clients that are taking part on the auction are taking Thursday and Friday off. They will be not available. 

The auction elements have not changed. The corporate auction will take place during a gala dinner on Friday, 28 May 2005, 7pm at the Tree-of-Light lawn. Tables are sold to corporates at R10 000 for 10 people. This will include dinner and selected drinks. The public auction will take place on Saturday, 29 May 2005, 11-2pm at the Band Stand. 

All animals on auction will be on view prior to the auction and WILL have reserve price. The proceeds from sales will go to the upgrade of enclosures, medical expenses, food and animal enrichment programmes. The animals will NOT be taken home.
