Johannesburg Zoo increases fees due to inflationary operational costs, effective 1 July 2006

Johannesburg, May 25, 2006

Due to the inflation on operational costs, the Zoo will be increasing its entry fees as from the 1st July 2006. The new fee structure is as follows:

Adults - R34
Children (from 3 – 12 years) - R20
Pensioners - R20
School Groups - R14*
Welfare Groups - R14*

Annual Pass

Children and Pensioners  - R160
Adults - R220

Parking

Cars - R10
Buses - R20

* Conditions Apply

The Zoo is open to visitors from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, seven days a week. The last entry is at 4:00pm.
