Johannesburg Zoo is hosting a bigger, better Bird Fair

Johannesburg, September 23, 2005

Following the success of the bird fair in 2004, Johannesburg Zoo and its partners are hosting yet another bigger and better Bird Fair this October. The objective is to promote an interest in birds and birding, and focus on gardening for birds in particular. Experts in their field will present a series of lectures on topics such as birds in your garden, bird photography and tips on where to go birding.

The Bird Fair will take place as follows:

Date: 7 - 9 October 2005
Venue: Band Stand at Johannesburg Zoo
Time: 09h30 am to 15h30 pm daily
Entrance Fee: Zoo fees will apply

The Media is invited to a bird fair launch on Friday, 7 October 2005 at 16h00 pm for 16h30 pm.
