Johannesburg Zoo deals with owl mystery during Owl Week

People say an owl can turn its head completely around, they say that if you hear an owl it means bad luck and that owls are blind in daylight? These are all misconceptions that have been passed down through generations. Let's set the record straight during the owl week at the Johannesburg Zoo.

The Johannesburg Zoo and EWT invite you to a week of fun, flavour, smell and other exciting activities in and around the world of owls and their habitat. The visit will open your eyes to this wonderful world, full of intrigue, mystery and drama.

Venue: Owls enclosures
Time: 08h30am until 01h00 pm

Entry Fee: R13 per student/ teacher Monday to Friday (or normal Zoo fees apply)
