As from the 20 January 2010; the Johannesburg Zoo will increase its
fees. This is due to inflation on operational costs. All tours
include the parking fee, * Conditions apply. The new fee structure
is as follows:
Please remember that all fees change
every 1st July.

Hippo Cars for Toddlers
Fee: R30 for 2 hours plus R20 refundable deposit (Single Car -1
Toddler)
R60 for 2 hours plus R40 refundable deposit (Double Car- 2
Toddlers)
Conditions: Operate every day, except Monday
“Hippo Cars”, and the Zoo cannot accept responsibility (and will
not be liable) for any injury, loss, damage or inconvenience to
myself or child arising from the use of the Hippo Car”

Zoo Buggies
The zoo has made changes to visitor transport
system, to make it more affordable and accessible. Zoo visitors can
now use Zoo Ferry every day through out the day at a cost of R10.
Just book a ticket and catch a Zoo Ferry anywhere in the zoo. You
can also get on and off anywhere in the zoo.
Unfortunately Zoo Buggies(golf carts) are no longer available.
